There are so many place to learn about a vegan lifestyle. You can google basically anything. and I do. I can’t imagine trying to go vegan before all of these resources were available at my fingertips. I have learned a basically everything I know from the internet and I wanted to share some of my sources.
To start off, these are some of my favorite vegan instagrammers that I have inspired me. I have linked their names to their instagram accounts. I definitely recommend checking them out, you won’t regret it.
Restaurants with Allergen Menus:
Before going to a restaurant, I usually will try looking for an allergen menu on their website. For example, Olive Garden has a pretty impressive vegan/vegetarian chart on their website. If I can’t find one, I just look at menu to make sure they have something vegan or something I can make vegan, like a salad without the cheese. Looking up the food beforehand, has made being vegan so much easier for me. I don’t feel like I can’t go out to eat with friends and family because of my dietary restriction.
Peta shares all kinds of posts about different foods that are vegan, like this post about Accidentally Vegan Food .When I am not sure about something, I find it to be very trustworthy source.
Google has been my best friend, since going vegan. If I have a question about anything, I google it. You would be surprised by how much information is already out there on the internet. For example, say I am with my family, who aren’t vegan, and we want to eat out in Austin. I can google and find a blog post that someone wrote about all the places that have vegan options, like this one > https://lazysmurf.com/austin-sxsw-vegan-guide/
